The last few weeks in my Spanish 2 class, we have been learning about reflexive verbs. Instead of doing a written test, we made a Glogster which allowed me to put all the information on a wall without using a pencil. Also, we did another Voki recording, this time using reflexive verbs. I tried describing my daily morning routine without using a “script”.

Honestly, I liked using glogster instead of doing a written test. I’m more of a technology guy. I really don’t like using pencils and paper, it’s all about the world wide web. I’d be more than excited to do this again. Hurray for glogster!

This is my Glogster

I am doing this assignment to touch up my ability to write in Spanish. It helps me and others to practice what we have learned this year. Even though I am a native speaker, there is always room for perfection.

Él es de Monte Cristi, Republica Dominicana, y es Dominicano. Él es beisbolista. Él tiene trienta y uno años. Él es oscuro con pelo castaño. Él es muy atlético y muy fuerte. Él es el jugador favorito de Señora Hugghins.

Lionel Andrés “Leo” Messi es de Rosario, Argentina. Él es Argentino. Leo Messi es un futbolista muy bueno. Él tiene veinticuatro años. Él es muy bajo, pero muy rapido. Leo es atlético y fuerte. También es muy bueno.

The last two days, our Spanish two class has been doing vocabulary, but in a special way. We used a website called stixy to make sentences, along with posting pictures to match them. It was pretty easy, and it was actually pretty fun. I will leave my stixy project here:

One of our first projects in Spanish II was to create a Voki account. Voki is a web app that allows the user to create a character, and record a voice to go with it. First, I created an account, using my email, and created a character. Then I saved it and went to home to record my voice using a phone. After I finished recording my voice, I revised it and was done.

I think the project went well, and was very fun. It was very easy to create the character, and record my voice. My background, which is a soccer background, represents my love for soccer. My character may not look like me, but it does represent me in a positive way. In all, I liked doing the voki project, and I will embed it in this post.
